Welcome to the Molecular Physics and Biophysics Group

Our group is focused in dynamics aspects of organic molecules and biomolecules.

Our main interests include:
Non-Adiabatic Excited state Molecular Dynamics in extended conjugated molecules, photoexcitation and subsequent electronic and vibrational energy relaxation and redistribution in dendrimers, fluorenes, nano-rings, among others;
Dinamics aspect of conformational diversity in proteins using normal modes and principal component analysis: Analysis and comparison of conformer-specific dynamics, conformational changes, effect of mutations on dynamics, identification of key residues, flexibility.
